Our Fire Ant Control Program is specially designed and offered exclusively for the horse farms of the Lake and Marion County areas. The program utilizes a two-step approach guaranteed to provide year-long fire ant control.
Middleton 's Two Step Approach To Fire Ant Control
- Step One: The first step will be to treat mounds on the property. Middleton will use an injection system to introduce product deep into the nest where the queen is located. All liquid product is injected deep into the mounds.
- Step Two: The second step is the application of granular fire ant bait to the property designed to control any start up nests. Granular bait will be applied twice a year.
Middleton 's Guarantee: With the two-step approach Middleton Lawn &Pest Control is able to offer a FULL ONE-YEAR GUARANTEE for the control of fire ants.

- The Red Imported Fire Ant is the most dangerous and abundant species in Florida.
- Small to large (1/8-1/4 in.) long.
- Dark brown abdomen, remainder of body reddish.
- There are multiple worker sizes.
