Children
Camp Boggy Creek - A year-round camp for children who have chronic or life threatening illnesses that allows them to safely enjoy the activities of a traditional camp.
Little Leagues throughout Florida - Middleton supports Little League baseball because of its healthy and wholesome atmosphere for kids, and its focus on teamwork.
The Miracle League - Bringing parents, children and volunteers together - special need and mainstream alike - in a program that serves them all through service to children with special needs.
WeekEnds of Greater Orlando - Promotes and provides positive, safe, affordable, substance-and-violence-free activities for high school teens.
Kids Wish Network - Assists children and their families through several key programs, including fulfilling the wishes of children with life-threatening diseases, operating a "guardian angel" fund, gift-giving and funeral assistance.
Boy Scouts of America, Central Florida Council - Scouting makes a direct and positive impact on the community by teaching positive values and leadership skills to youth. Through the Boy Scout program, young men can achieve the core objectives of strengthening character, personal fitness and good citizenship.
Florida Citrus Sports Foundation - More than 450 economically disadvantaged children from Orange and Seminole counties participate in the foundation's summer camp, stressing academics, athletics, attitude and achievement as it helps build confidence, teamwork and valuable life skills in the participants.
Great Oaks Village - A foster care group home for over 80 children ages 6-18 who have been removed from their homes by the State of Florida due to abuse, neglect or abandonment. Services include education, counseling, recreation and independent living preparation.
Hernando County Sheriff's Office Youth Education Services - An organization that offers summer day camps and school-based programs taught by deputies, including D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) and G.R.E.A.T. (Gang Resistance Education and Training)
Families
Junior League - helps in the prevention of domestic violence and ensuring the well-being of children through various community programs and projects.
Howard Phillips Center for Children & Families - provides dignity and healing for children, families and individuals who face overwhelming challenges like child abuse, HIV/AIDS, sexual trauma and developmental disabilities.
Jewish Community Center's "Family Festival" - an annual day-long event featuring activities that encourage parents and their young children to interact and take time for family play. This fall event and concert is open to the general public without admission fees, making it the only family concert of its kind in the region.
The Centre for Women - a leader in providing innovative services that strengthen the Tampa community, promote self-sufficiency and enrich the lives of women, girls, families and the elderly.
The American Cancer Society/ Relay For Life - by supporting walks throughout the area, Middleton helps fund the most innovative, groundbreaking research so future generations need never get cancer. This research program has resulted in saving literally millions of lives by funding breakthroughs in medical therapies for cancer, giving new hope to the mothers, fathers, grandparents and children of those touched by cancer.
Autism Society of Greater Orlando - Volunteer organization that assists families of children and adults with autism and related disorders. The goal of the Society is that all individuals within the autism spectrum will be provided a lifetime network of opportunities to become fully accepted, included, and actively participating members of our community through family support, education, advocacy and public awareness.
The Arts
Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra's "Concert at the Springs" - Middleton's sponsorship of this annual outdoor concert allows the community a chance to sit back and enjoy a warm spring evening filled with beautiful music. The Philharmonics mission is to foster and promote symphonic music through excellence in performance, education and cultural leadership.
Flagler County Art League's "Art in the Park" - this outdoor festival and fine art exhibition features hands-on activities for the whole family, arts and crafts projects, storytellers and face painting, musical entertainment, and much more. Middleton's sponsorship of this 2007 event provided a professionally sculpted, 15-ton sand sculpture for the community to enjoy long after the event ended.
Council of 101/ Orlando Museum of Art - founded to further the cultural development and appreciation of the visual arts, the operations of the Council of 101 have been conducted by 101 active members, associate members and sustaining members, contributing thousands of hours each year to programs that support the Orlando Museum of Art.
Vero Beach Museum of Art's "Children's Art Festival" - an annual event that allows thousands of area children and their families to participate in artistic and cultural activities, including the creation of studio art, youth group performances, musical presentations and the exhibition of art created by the children of the community.
